One of several plump little creatures who frequent our backyard. This one has produced several small copies of herself this year already. They're pesky but not as pesky as the deer who have late night picnics in my hosta beds.
I used to have a couple raised gardens when I lived on the Olympic Peninsula here in WA state. It was difficult to get a good yield from the two boxes because there was a small family of deer that loved all the greens growing there. We had all sorts of visitors: racoons, many species of birds including the pileated woodpecker (Walter Lantz used this species as a model for Woody),etc. Your rabbit is perfect for the occasion! You really "nailed" his eyes!
And, thank you for reading "Sofie!" I would love it if you wouldn't mind leaving a "comment" regarding the book at the amazon site.
I am a mother of three, grandmother of four. I've been involved in the arts for 30 years and still learning! I hope that will always be the case! I love trying new things as you will see if you read this blog. So much to do, so little time...........
That is a gorgeous painting!
